What's on the card
Every line comes from your four answers. Print it, get it by email, or save it in the app. All of it is free.
A 3.5 by 5 inch card: four steps, a commit line, your one word, your rule.
- Four steps in order. Decide, See, Settle, Go. Each one is written for the way you answered.
- Your one word. The only thought allowed over the ball, printed in caps.
- The Commit Line. A line on the card between thinking and swinging. Cross it and the deciding is done.
- Your rule and your reset. What to do when doubt or a second swing thought shows up over the ball. It costs ten seconds.
- Two print sizes. A 3.5 by 5 pocket card with a cut line, or a full page with a 10-shot range challenge and an 18-hole tally.
- A copy in your inbox. One email with the card and a link that reopens it on your phone. No drip, no list.
Four taps. One routine.
-
1
What goes wrong
Overthink, rush, freeze, tense, or doubt. This picks your rule.
-
2
Your target
Fairway, a spot, or something tiny. This picks how step 1 reads.
-
3
What settles you
A picture, a rehearsal, a breath, or motion. This is step 3.
-
4
One word
The only thought allowed over the ball.
Decide behind the ball. Trust over it.
Every good routine does the same four jobs: decide, see, settle, go. The line between the first two and the last two is the whole trick. Behind the ball you are allowed to think. Once you cross the line you are only allowed to swing. That is what a routine is for: it finishes your thinking before you get to the ball.
Then keep it one tap away on every tee.
Save the routine in ZenCaddie and it sits next to the first-tee reset, the bad-hole recovery, and the breathing tools. 3-day free trial, cancel anytime.
Questions
Is it free?
Yes, all of it: the routine, the card, both print sizes, and the email copy. No account and no credit card.
What happens with my email?
You get one email with your card and a link to reopen it. We don't add you to a list.
Does it cover putting?
Not yet. This card is for full swings. ZenCaddie has a putting routine builder in the app.
Will it fix my slice?
No. A routine fixes rushing, overthinking, and doubt. Swing mechanics are for the range.
Do I need the app?
No. The card works on its own. The app keeps the routine one tap away on the course, and that's a separate 3-day trial.
